UK Warranty

Items offered for sale by Plastic Republic are new and come with a warranty of one year.

Plastic Republic warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty excludes fixings. If this product is found to be defective within the warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced. You may return it after contacting us.

Items must be checked and any damage or missing parts reported within 48 hours of reciept, after which we will not assume any responsibility.

Product repair/replacement is your sole remedy under this warranty, and this warranty does not apply to normal wear or to damage resulting from abnormal use, misuse, abuse, neglect or accident, or to any incompatibility or poor performance due to inappropriate or specific installations. The warranty does not cover any damage incurred during the installation process so all instructions should be read carefully and adhered to.

 

Design

All products are manufactured in the UK to designs input via our website. Care should be taken over spelling and grammer - we will always produce exactly what is on the form regardless of capiltisation issues etc. although if we spot something obvious we will try to contact you before producing it.

In cases where a font is slim we will contour cut letters and numbers to ensure fixings are not visible and so they may look slightly different to an onscreen viewing of the font.

We use the orginal fonts for cut letters and numbers: this means there may be slight descepancies in actual sizes. Some numbers are made smaller to others to compensate for the way our eyes perceive them. The template guide wil show the correct way to position the characters to ensure they look correct on the wall.

Although we show the very best onscreen image possible some things such as colours may vary slightly when you receive them due to onscreen resolutions and we may position text a little differently for design purposes.

Every care has been taken to represent the charcters in Go Design but please download templates to be sure of exact sizes and designs before purchase.

 

Payment

You may use any credit /debit card or contact us for direct payment options (Bac's transfer). We use PayPal shopping cart and if you have an account you may use it or select card payment as you go through checkout. This system means that we do not view or hold your card details, they remain private to you.

 

Return Information

All products are quality checked prior to packing and care is taken to pack items to minimise any transit damage

The products must be fully checked when they are despatched and any transit damage must be reported to us within 48 hours of the item being delivered, by telephone / email or use our contact form page. You must not attempt to install a faulty or damaged product as we will not accept liability for installation damage.

If the product becomes faulty during the one year warranty period you must use our contact form to request an RMA and return the product. Items without an RMA form will be rejected. Return postage costs are to be met by the customer.

All bespoke goods, being made solely for the customer with choices of fonts, sizes, text etc. are not covered by Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) and therefore cannot be returned unless they are faulty or incorrect.

To return items that are covered under DSR you must use our contact form to request an RMA up to 8 days of receipt of the goods and this must be returned with the goods within 3 working days. If the item is returned without an RMA it will be rejected. If it is not returned within the 3 working days the RMA will be void.

The goods must be returned in perfect, resalable condition. Some items come with seals that once broken void the ability to return them under DSR: this is where the condition and use of the product can be pertained without having to fully open the packaging.

Transit damage is the customer's responsibility and postage fees are not refunded. Any damage incurred will result in the goods being returned to the customer or the cost of repair taken from any refunds given.

 

Refunds

Refunds are issued up to 30 days of receipt of the goods. They are issued via PayPal and the customer will require an account with them to retrieve the money: PayPal will issue instructions in that event.
